Bishopsgate Tower Gets Green Light

Londonist gave a little whoop of delight this morning on hearing that the DIFA tower has been given the go-ahead by the Corporation of London.
“Whoop! Whoop!” we were quoted as saying.
You see, we find the helter-skelter proposal simply stunning. Sat alongside the Gherkin and, to a lesser extent, the yet-to-be-built Cheesegrater, the tower would crown a distinctive new skyline for the City. While it could never compete with the likes of Hong Kong or New York in terms of massing and height, future London will be Top Trump in style and innovation.
Even English Heritage have now calmed down a bit, after previously questioning the proposal. The only thing now standing in the way is John Prescott, who has the power to block the development. We imagine he has other things on his mind at the minute, though. And, in any case, he’s said to be rather fond of tall, curvy things.

When does/did the construction of the Bishopsgate Tower/Pinnacle begin? I hope it IS built, surpassing the height of the building at One Canada Square! Please read my Guestbook entries in the russellphotographic.co.uk website.
Please also read other articles of mine. Just visit Google and put DENT RESISTANCE SOLAR SYSTEM or even Jeremy Keller in the search engine to locate them. I do believe the UK Prime Minister has been informed about them. Furthermore, on March the 23rd, Jo Hollis made a video of me talking about them in a studio of BBC Radio Leicester.
