Eye witnesses report a massive fire on a railway bridge over Stratford station. People on the platforms are seeing flames and smoke from only a metres away down the track. King's Road in Chelsea is closed due to an incident involving gunfire: members of the public reported hearing gun shots in the area and police were fired at when they approached. The armed police officers discharged their weapons in return at approximately 5pm and the incident is still unfolding. A major fire has broken out in Camden Town. Part of the Canal Market, Chalk Farm Road, caught fire around 7pm. As dense black smoke billowed out from beneath shutters at least four fire engines and a surveillance helicopter rushed to the scene.
