Claridge's hotel has, rather predictably, been awarded the Top London Afternoon Tea 2006 award (yes, it really exists). Proving that people may not know art but they know what they like the artists that spawned a thousand cheap motel prints, Turner Whistler and Monet are proving a draw of Beatle-esque proportions at the Tate Britain. The show has an aquatic theme with the work on show being based around the Thames, the Seine, and the Lagoon of Venice, which apparently had over 500,000 enthralled when the exhibition was in Paris.
