We've dreamt of going to Iceland's Airwaves festival for many a year now, but have some how failed to get round to it. Now in a bid to save us the super expensive airfare to Reykjavik, Airwaves is coming to us with it's inaugural London Airwaves festival hanging out in Shoreditch on Friday 19 September. We loved folk disco boy Rod Thomas a couple of years ago and we're still impressed with his songs which are just crying out for a mainstream release, particularly now in a world where Noah & The Whale can go top ten!
